A delightful former pub, offering period style accommodation for three guests, affording a fantastic location in the coastal village of Weybourne, just 0.5 miles from the local beach.

This cottage is located close to Weybourne village centre, just a few hundred metres from the shop, tearoom, and pub. Continue through the village to discover the shingle beach which lies just 0.5 miles from the property which is a popular spot with anglers. For one of the region’s most spectacular sandy beaches, head west around the coast to the harbour town of Wells-next-the-Sea some 14 miles away, or alternatively pay a visit to Cromer, a traditional seaside resort which lies just 8 miles east of the cottage.

Three external steps lead to the front door of this cottage, which opens into the cosy lounge/diner where guests can immediately make themselves at home on the comfortable sofa. In the evenings, light the woodburner and cosy up with a favourite film on the TV/DVD. In the kitchen the flagstone floor brings an authentic character to the room which is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and washer/dryer. There is also a second dining table in the kitchen with seating for two: an ideal spot for enjoying a morning coffee.  The bathroom is also located on the ground floor and offers a shower-over-bath and WC. Steep cottage-style stairs lead to the first floor where there are two bedrooms. The first bedroom has twin beds which can be pushed together to form a double, and is a homely room overlooking the front of the property. The second bedroom, meanwhile, is a peaceful single room. Please be aware that the period and style of the property means that there is a sloping ceiling and some reduced head-height in the first-floor rooms.

Outside there is a lawned garden to the rear of the property, as well as a pleasant patio with garden furniture providing guests with a place to enjoy relaxed al fresco drinks during the summer months. There is parking provided for two cars.

Lovely quaint cottage which was well equipped and in a very nice village. Brilliant location for getting around the surrounding areas. As mentioned the staircase would not be suitable for everyone as the treads are quite slim but everything else was quite adequate. All in all we would use again if coming back to the area.

Lovely holiday cottage. Stairs need careful negotiation . Book early at the Ship pub for meals. Great base.

Good location with offroad parking, easy to get to coast and local places, Walks from the front door around the windmill etc.

A quirky, but dated property, with a lovely garden, lovely village with a great pub serving excellent food. Be aware that the steep stairs have very narrow treads, which could pose problems for anyone with reduced mobility.

There are low doors which are a hazard for tall people like myself. We hadn't realised towels aren't provided but quickly found Tesco in sherringham, 3 miles and 10 minutes away, sell them.Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The ship inn and village store close by are very good.
