Ideally located in a tranquil spot near the heart of a thriving market town, this tastefully refurbished cottage makes a delightful holiday home for a family looking to enjoy the Norfolk countryside.

Perfectly located in a quiet part of the lovely Georgian market town of Holt, this charming cottage is an easy stroll from a variety of restaurants, pubs, antique shops, book shops and art galleries. You can also follow the Holt Owl Trail, explore the beautiful 100-acre Holt Country Park, or take a trip on a steam train. Among many local attractions are Norfolk’s only working watermill at Letheringsett, the ruins of Baconsthorpe Castle and Binham Priory, Holkham Estate, Pensthorpe Natural Park and the Muckleburgh Military Collection. Popular coastal towns and villages include Wells-next-the-Sea, Brancaster and Cromer. This is also a fantastic area for nature-lovers, with numerous nature reserves to discover, including those at Blakeney, Cley and Sheringham.

On entering this lovely and spacious cottage you will find yourself in the light and welcoming lounge. With comfortable seating, TV, DVD, iPod dock, CD and a living flame gas fire, this is an ideal space to relax in at the end of a delightful day. Double doors lead to a large and bright dining room with an additional reading area. Heading into the kitchen, you will find it fully equipped with an oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. There is also a ground-floor shower room with WC. Heading upstairs, there are two cosy bedrooms: an attractive twin room with a feature fireplace, and a peaceful double room overlooking the back garden. There is also a family bathroom complete with a corner bath and WC.

Stepping outside, you will find a lovely garden with a patio area and a large lawn. There is also a furnished summerhouse. The garden is well-screened with hedges and is an ideal space to enjoy a BBQ. Parking is available for two cars.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
