The cottage was spotlessly clean and has everything you need, but the kitchen is tiny. It also has a very pretty garden. The main issue we had was the excessive road noise. We were aware that the cottage was on a B-road but had assumed, wrongly, that it wouldn't be a problem. The road is part of a signed alternative to the coast road to avoid CromeRead morer. As such you get a lot more cars and lorries passing the door than you would expect. Hide

We have just returned from a fantastic week at Buck's cottage. It is a lovely characterful cottage, very clean and comfortable. In fact the beds were so comfortable I'm now looking to replace our mattress at home! The garden is lovely, very spacious and secluded, the perfect spot to enjoy a drink in the sun. We would definitely return. Hide

The cottage and gardens were really beautiful. The cottage was ideally suited for trips around the surrounding areas. The New Inn and the fish and chip shop, both at the top of the road, only about 300 yards away was an asset when not cooking our own meals, A really nice experience staying in this old cottage.
