A traditional cottage offering comfortable accommodation for three guests, located in the much-loved Georgian market town of Holt, just 4 miles from Norfolk's northern coastline.

The town of Holt is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed holiday in North Norfolk. An elegant Georgian town with a real community feel to it, guests staying here will have an excellent range of shops, restaurants, and coffee shops right on the doorstep, ideal for popping out for a relaxed lunch or dinner. To the north of the town, the beaches, harbour towns and nature reserves of Norfolk’s north coast await, offering something for everyone, whether they fancy scenic walks, leisurely boat trips, or just a day of sunbathing and beach games.

 

The front door of this brick and flint cottage opens directly into the open-plan living space, with the lounge area situated to the front of the room and the kitchen area towards the rear. A wood burner-effect electric fire keeps the room lovely and snug in the cooler months, when guests may like to spend their evenings with a takeaway in front of the TV/DVD, or perhaps listening to music through the iPod dock. Holt boasts many restaurants, but for those who prefer to cook, the kitchen offers a good range of equipment including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, the first of which is a cosy double room with a lovely restful feel to it. The second bedroom, meanwhile is a peaceful single room with a day bed. The bathroom offers a bath with shower over  and WC and is finished with local flint tiles, adding a touch of character to the room.

 

A parking space for one car can be found located just across the road from the cottage, and there is also a small outside seating area, giving guests a pleasant place to sit out with al fresco drinks.

 

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

This was a cosy little cottage a stone's throw from shops etc. in Holt. Good base from which to explore the north coast - Cromer, Sheringham.

Location is spot on for getting around the coastal towns. The town centre is splendid with everything and more. Great pub and two hotels on your doorstep. The cottage had everything you could need,just like being at home,easy to find and comfortable, we loved it.
