Head out for leisurely country walks or cycle rides, or perhaps take the 5.5-mile drive north to the coast where visitors can enjoy days at the beach, boat trips to the see the seals at Blakeney Point, or leisurely strolls around some of the pretty harbour towns or villages. 4 miles to the north-east meanwhile, the Georgian town of Holt is a lovely place to have lunch followed by a leisurely stroll around the independent shops.
This property offers all the charms of a traditional rural cottage and yet has been beautifully updated to create a wonderfully light-filled space making the most of the position in its spacious garden. On arrival, guests step into the open-plan kitchen/dining area with its floor-to-ceiling windows giving the impression that you are dining amongst the trees and presenting a wonderful spot to linger over leisurely meals. There is an excellent range of equipment which is sure to please any keen cook including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. From the kitchen, a door leads through to the first of two lounges, with the second accessed through the first. The first lounge has comfortable seating arranged around a large open fire, which is a fantastic place to cosy up on winter nights. The second lounge, meanwhile, is where guests will find the TV/DVD and iPod dock. A double bedroom can also be found on the ground floor, offering views across the garden and an en-suite shower room. There is also a further ground-floor shower room. The remaining three bedrooms are located on the first floor: another double room, a twin, and a bunk bedroom, all of which are finished in an elegant understated style. The main bathroom is also located on this floor with shower over bath.
Outside, the property enjoys a fantastic, generously-sized garden with a sun terrace as well as mature lawns. A summer house is furnished with comfortable seating and even a WC and a small kitchen area, making it a charming garden retreat where guests can while away relaxing days during the summer months. There is also parking available.
Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
