This traditional brick and flint property faces the beautiful medieval church at the heart of the picturesque village of Trunch, which is just a couple of miles from the beautiful Norfolk coast.

The historic village of Trunch lies only a couple of miles from the Norfolk coast, close to the delightful resort of Mundesley, where you will find Stow Mill, a beautifully restored windmill. Trunch is a charming and secluded village, with a traditional pub, a village green and St Botolph’s Church, which dates back to medieval times. The village’s old Norfolk flintstone houses have led this to become a designated conservation area. Trunch is surrounded by the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and there are many public footpaths and quiet lanes which are ideal for walkers, bird watchers and conservationists to explore. The nearest town is North Walsham, and the historic city of Norwich is just 17 miles away.

Access to the cottage is at the side of the property down a shared shingle path to the left, and not through the front door. On entering this traditional brick and flint cottage, you will find yourself in the light and airy lounge, which is a perfect space to relax in, with plenty of comfy seating, TV/DVD and a Electric wood burner effect fire. You will also find a lovely dining room with microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. The fully equipped and stylishly designed kitchen includes an electric oven and hob, fridge and plenty of work surfaces. There is also a ground-floor bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC. Going upstairs to the first floor, you will find two cosy but spacious bedrooms: there’s a double room with plenty of storage, and a twin room with views over to the church.

From the dining room, French doors lead you out into the garden which is arranged over two levels. Immediately outside the French doors is a lovely patio area with table and chairs, where you can unwind and dine al fresco. Five steps lead up to the main garden area with a larger patio with table and chairs leading to a lawn area at the rear. There is off-road parking available for one car at the front of the cottage. Additional parking may be found in the street.

This cottage is in a great location 10 mins drive from several beaches. It has great facilities and the local community is thriving. We had a great experience in the cottage, which as some of the other reviews have already said does have a very small parking bay and the pub music can be heard at the weekend when we stayed, but it finished at 10pm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Church Cottage. Garden amazing and lovely to have a bbq on the patio. Thankfully we could eat outside as I think it would have been a squeeze in the dining /utility area. Would come back again . Very quaint village and the post office/shop was very handy at the end of the road.
