Clean, well equipped and quality cottage in a central location. Not suitable for disabled/infirm due to big step into lounge and no walk-in shower but overall a lovely cottage. Good dog walking area nearby. Garden fully enclosed and safe for dogs/children. Large supply of logs was very welcome.

Lovely cosy cottage in great location close to beaches. Very dog friendly with dog safe garden and beautiful bedrooms. Lovely spacious kitchen with plenty of room to sit round. Village had a store you can get milk and newspaper from. We loved it!

A very comfortable home from home in a good location for visiting the Norfolk coast and villages

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is lovely and clean. It is perfectly positioned for exploring the beautiful area - we found loads of places to visit within 20-30 minutes drive. There is a gorgeous beach ten minutes away and a great pub fifteen minutes walk from the cottage. We were very happy! The owner is helpful and responsive.

We all had a great time at this cottage. The cottage has an amazing aura about it and it is cosy and comfortable.

Lovely cottage well equipped in a good area, fine for us but would be unsuitable for the infirm or small children due to steep shallow stairs to bedrooms. Downstairs bathroom not ideal

Bishops' Retreat was ideal for us, 4 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs. Many pubs in a 4 mile radius are dog friendly and the local one does breakfasts. Great for the day you leave.

The most comfortable cottage we have ever stayed in and very clean especially as its dog friendly. Stayed here 3 times now and hope to book again next year.
