Located on the edge of the village of Hindringham, this cottage enjoys a quiet location in scenic rural Norfolk. Just a mile down the road from the property, the picturesque gardens of Hindringham Hall are open to the public throughout the summer months, allowing visitors to wander around the herbs, flowers, and water gardens at their leisure. There is also a cafe here which is a delightful place to enjoy a pot of tea and slice of cake. For those who want to spend a day or two at the beach there are plenty to choose from within easy reach, including the beautiful wide expanse of sand at Holkham Bay which lies 10 miles away.
Stepping inside this charming cottage, the first room that guests will come to is the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where the eclectic furnishings and thoughtfully chosen artworks bring a personal cosy feel to the room. The property is all set on one level, but guests should be aware that there is one small step leading into the lounge area, where guests will find two comfortable sofas, a TV/DVD, and an impressive inglenook fireplace within which sits a warming wood burner. A dining table sits in the centre of the space, between the lounge and kitchen area which is itself well-equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, and dishwasher. In the bedroom a double bed sits under the beamed ceiling and allows guests to wake up to views across the garden from the window. In the bathroom, meanwhile, guests will find a shower-over-bath and WC.
The cottage garden provides guests with a delightful place to sit outside and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, offering a lawned area as well as a herb garden, and a patio with garden furniture and a BBQ which has been built into the cottage’s chimney breast. There is parking available.
