Be aware this cottage has NO WARDROBES! only a coat rail with 9 coat hangers. NO dishwasher. Cottage very small. Images make it look bigger than it is. Cottage on a small estate. Cars parked either side of road. Makes it very difficult to get on and off driveway. Location good. 10min walk to sheringham. No Instructions for bin days, cooker, heatingRead more. Nice bathroom but shower head kept falling to bits and toilet took too long to refill. Garden depressing .Would I stay at this cottage again, NO. Hide

Charming little cottage, a bit on the small side for 4 adults though, especially if weather bad and your stuck indoors. Excellent for the dog as garden very safe and secure. Very handy for beach and shops all within 10 minute walk.

We had a lovely 4 nights break at Herring Cottage, very well placed for strolling into town. Very clean and well equiped. We enjoyed some lovely costal walks with our dog and a trip on the steam train to Holt. The sun came out on our last day so we managed to sit out and enjoy the garden too:)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Herring Cottage. The cottage had everything we needed to make it a perfect home away from home and the location was excellent for days out and a short walk to the beach and into Sheringham. We would definitely recommend this cottage and hope to stay again.
