Situated in a quiet part of the northeast coast of Norfolk, Mundesley is a pretty Victorian seaside village bursting with charm, as well as boasting a beautiful wide, sandy beach, beach huts and scenic walks such as a very popular circular walk. Along with a variety of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes at your disposal, you are nestled in the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which provides fantastic walks and is very popular with lovers of wildlife. A short drive will take you to the Norfolk Broads, and the popular locations of Holt (18 miles), Cromer (7.5 miles), Overstrand (5.5 miles) and Sheringham (12 miles) are also only a short drive away. If it’s some retail therapy you’re looking for, the historic cathedral city of Norwich is just 20 miles away.

 This spectacular property has been lovingly furnished with a social aspect in mind, offering a large group the ideal holiday home in splendid surroundings. The ground floor consists of a gorgeous traditional kitchen perfectly equipped to cater for any type of social gathering, a large dining room with enough seating for all 16 guests, two sitting rooms with comfortable sofas and a playroom especially designed to keep the little ones occupied. All the bedrooms are themed and named after popular Norfolk destinations adding a personal and thoughtful touch. On the first floor, you have four bedrooms to choose from. Cley is a king-size room with sea views and an en-suite bathroom. Blakeney consists of a king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a 2’ 6" twin on request) plus a set of bunk beds, sea views and an en-suite bathroom. Sheringham is a king-size room with lovely garden views and an en-suite bathroom, and Salthouse is a twin room that shares a family bathroom. The second floor of this spectacular house has three more bedrooms. Mundesley is a king-size room and has fantastic sea views. Cromer is a twin room which, due to the restricted height, is perhaps ideal for children and finally Overstrand is a king-size with views to the front of the grounds. Completing the property is a family shower room with WC.

Outside you have a lovely garden that wraps around the property and the owner has supplied enough garden furniture for those who wish to gather to soak up the sun and enjoy some drinks. Or for those who enjoy a spot of al fresco dining, there’s enough dining space for all 16 guests. What’s more, you have your very own private hot tub which is perfect to soak tired muscles.

  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £500 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £65. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Beautiful, spacious property in a lovely location. We were a multigenerational party of 12 adults, a baby and 3 dogs staying over Christmas. Well stocked and spacious kitchen which we cooked in every day bar one. Large dining table easily accommodated all of us. The play room, stair gates and high chair were all put to good use. The two living roomRead mores were also a bonus and both were fully used. It is a short walk to the local pub and the beach, and a 30 minute drive to Cromer. We would stay again. Hide

Generous size house. We were a party of 8 with young children so the 2 lounges & additional playroom worked well for us. Sits roadside in quiet village location with 1 dining pub. Good location for walking to the lovely beach.

Amazing family home! So much space, so many rooms! Close to the beach! Ideal for a big family gathering. We loved it!!! Celebrated our daughter's graduation and our 40th anniversary! Perfect setting!

Hilltop worked very well for our three-generation group. The house was warm and comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed - and the play room was especially appreciated! The location is good, too, with an easy walk to the beach. even for toddlers. Easy to access and a very helpful host.

13 of us stayed in your house over Easter ranging from 6 months old to 54. Lovely house! Really appreciated having stair gates on all the stairs and having two high chairs. Hot tub was lovely and good that we did t have to pack any towels. Kids loved the play room and a brilliant house for hide and seek!
