This property enjoys the best of both worlds, surrounded by attractive countryside and yet only a 1 miles from the beach at Blakeney, known for its abundance of wildlife and scenic seascapes. The beach here is best for those who like a quiet stretch of sand without any distractions such as amusement arcades, although there are shops and places to eat in Blakeney itself. For a livelier day at the sea, head to Cromer which, at 15 miles away is still within easy reach, and offers two sandy beaches with a pier offering traditional entertainment, as well as an excellent range of independent eateries, many of which serve delicious local seafood.

A covered porch leads guests to the front door of this property which opens onto a small hallway, off from which a door leads through to the lounge. This spacious room offers guests a comfortable spot in which to relax and unwind, with a choice of seating arranged for the TV/DVD and the warming open fire. Returning to the hall, guests will find a second door opens onto the dining room which is furnished with a table seating eight, and a traditional dresser.  The property’s kitchen is accessed through the dining room and offers a good range of equipment, including an oven, hob, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher, whilst the washing machine, tumble dryer, and microwave, can be found in the adjacent utility room. Leading off from a hallway towards the rear of the property, there is a shower room with a shower and WC, as well as a twin bedroom. The three remaining bedrooms can be found upstairs on the first floor, the first of which is a spacious double room which benefits from a refitted en-suite bathroom with a bath and WC. The other two bedrooms on this floor are both twin rooms, one of which is accessed through the other. The main bathroom on this floor, meanwhile, offers a shower-over-bath and WC.

To the rear of the property, guests will find an enclosed garden providing guests with a pleasant space to sit out and enjoy alfresco drinks or dining. There is garden furniture and a BBQ provided. To the front of the property, a driveway has space to park three or four cars.

Great cottage - loads of space, garden and lovely location to explore Norfolk. We stayed as a family with children + dog and had a lovely time. Would stay again!

Beautifully situated property that has recently been renovated. Lovely neighbours too. Fairly well appointed with an exceptionally comfy new master bed. Lovely large charcoal bbq with lots of outside seating. Garden offers plenty of shade and sun spots throughout the day. Cottage is in a good location for exploring the area and was great for our large family. Nice welcome pack but need to bring your own milk if you want a drink on arrival.

Good size cottage in lovely quiet location but walking distance to pub and easy drive to costal towns. It is possible to walk around the area but there are few footpaths locally so not ideal with children. Garden was basic (plastic chairs, a few bushes) but was excellent for us as we have dogs that are escape artists. Wonderful big house with secure garden We had a lovely week. Not good for walking dogs out as on busy lane but Holt country park is 12 minutes up the Rd and is fabulous for children and dogs.
