Nestling on the outskirts of the picturesque market town of Holt, this charming, spacious and cosy cottage is perfect for enjoying long country walks, and is just a short drive from the Norfolk coast.

The thriving Georgian market town of Holt is a fantastic base for exploring this beautiful area, situated just a few miles from the Norfolk coastline, and within easy reach of glorious countryside. Holt offers a great array of restaurants, shops, historic buildings, art galleries and pubs. Holt Country Park is a mile away and offers 100 acres of woodland for families and their dogs to enjoy. You can also take a trip on the North Norfolk Railway, visit the watermill at Letheringsett, or explore the ruins of Baconsthorpe Castle (both within 2 miles). You could head to coastal resorts including Wells-next-the-Sea and Brancaster. Other attractions within 15 miles include the Holkham Estate, Pensthorpe Natural Park and Blakeney National Nature Reserve.

 

On entering this lovely, inviting and attractive holiday home, you will find yourself in the light and spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With plenty of comfortable seating and a bright and open dining area, this is an ideal space to relax in at the end of a fantastic day. The stylishly designed kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, slow cooker and coffee machine as well as a breakfast bar. Large bi-fold doors lead out onto a lovely terrace. There is an additional separate lounge with comfortable seating, TV and DVD. Heading upstairs you will find three comfortable and beautifully furnished bedrooms: one twin room and two king-size rooms, one with an en-suite shower room. There is also an elegant bathroom.

 

Stepping outside, you will find a wonderfully peaceful and fenced private garden which consists of a gently sloping lawn area and a furnished sandstone patio, allowing you to unwind and dine alfresco. Ample parking is available.

 

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

100% recommend this cottage. Really high quality fixtures and fittings. Loads of parking. Really clean and beautifully accessorised with art and sculptures. Great information pack . We had 5 adults and two dogs at this cottage, plenty of room for us all. We all loved our stay

We loved the house, very well equipped, nice decor. We felt very comfortable there. Only. Issue was noise, even though the windows were shut when cars/lorries went past it sounded very loud like the windows were open. And we could hear noise from next door, TV, them talking even. We could hear this in the twin room so the kids weren't disturbed. BuRead moret that was out only issue. We would go again Hide

We liked the property itself, it was modern & had all the facilities expected. Access and parking was easy & it is well located for a short walk into Holt town center. The garden is fully enclosed by a tall fence & therefore excellent for letting your dog out on its own if required. A great location. Good local info provided too. House well equipped although a few more tupperware wouldnt go amiss! Also had no basic supplies such as clingfilm, foil, bin bags, toilet paper, kitchen roll so had to purchase all of these on arrival.

Beautiful property. Very well equipped. Great location. We loved Holt and it was close to all coastal resorts. A lot of building work going on at the back and they do start very early so could be a problem if you need a lie-in.

Holt is most pleasant. Shops good especially fish shop. Grey seal coffee cafe at Glandford was just superb. The surrounding area is great for investigating and the wood behind was superb for morning walk. We loved the bifold doors and cannot think how we could put on the back of our house unfortunately.
