Nearby is the pilgrim village of Little Walsingham where you can catch the Light Railway to Wells-next-the-Sea. This is a fantastic base for exploring the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and a beautiful area which is perfect for nature-lovers, with numerous popular nature reserves including those at Titchwell and Blakeney Point. The seaside resort of Cromer and the historic city of Norwich are within driving distance.
Set in a lovely rural location, this delightful and traditional semi-detached cottage enjoys a secluded position away from the roads and looks out over fields and pastures with grazing horses. On entering this pretty cottage, which retains plenty of original features including exposed beams and stonework, you will find yourself in a welcoming open plan kitchen and dining area, the kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and a microwave. The attractively designed kitchen/diner features a delightful dining area set for four guests. Having French doors lead into the garden. Through to a cosy lounge with plenty of comfy seating, TV/DVD, CD/radio and an inglenook fireplace hosting a traditional wood burner, this is a wonderful space to unwind in at the end of a fantastic day. Exploring further, going upstairs you will find two cosy bedrooms on the first floor. There’s a double room with a super king-size bed which can be made up as two twin beds on prior request (please request at the time of booking). This room also features a vaulted ceiling and beams, and an en-suite shower room complete with walk-in shower and WC. There is also a second double bedroom, also with a king-size bed, vaulted ceiling and beams. You will also find a bathroom complete with a hand-held shower over the bath and a WC.
Stepping outside, you will find a pretty and enclosed garden with a lawn area, shrubs and a paved terrace with garden furniture, allowing you to sit back and dine al fresco. The house and garden are surrounded by fields. Off-road parking is available for two cars.
