Situated in the heart of the Norfolk countryside the village of Stoke Holy Cross is well served with a village shop and home to two of the county's best restaurants which have won many awards; booking is advisable well in advance. The Roman settlement of Caistor St Edmund is a short walk from the property. The surrounding area is great for exploring by cycling or walking and there are several golf courses nearby. Conveniently located for Norwich with its museums, Castle, shops and places to eat. Within a 30 minute drive lies the Norfolk Broads and the coast beyond, visit Wroxham and take a day boat out on the Broads. Other attractions include the National Trust properties at Felbrigg and Blickling. Bewilderwood is a must for children and adults alike, Pensthorpe and the Dinosaur Adventure Park. Games room: situated in the hall with table tennis table.

A larger lounge with many period features exposed stone and brick walls, exposed timber beams, a brick hearth with woodburner  (first basket of logs included) French doors leading to the garden, TV/DVD. From the first floor landing the master king size bedroom having built in wardrobes and lots of built in storage space, velux window, exposed brick wall and exposed timber beams, the en-suite shower room with walk-in shower, WC and wash hand basin with vanity unit. A twin bedroom with restricted head height, with exposed timber beams, velux window an en suite bathroom having bath with shower over, WC and wash hand basin.

Outside is a large enclosed mature garden with trees, shrubs and various planting flowers, a patio area with garden furniture and BBQ ideal for alfresco dining, the garden is perfect for the children to use the trampoline and enjoy playing football with the goal nets benefiting from views over open fields to the rear of the property along with off road parking.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Wonderful cottage full of character, super comfortable and clean . Equipped with all you need it was like going home from home ! The best Christmas time in a long time !

Lovely comfortable cottage with fantastic views over open countryside. Cottage was cosy and warm with good quality appliances. Beds really comfortable. Plenty of parking available which was great for our family gathering. Loved the bedroom separation so that no one was on top of each other.

We stayed at lime kiln and it was lovely. The house was extremely cosy and the owners had obviously thought carefully about the guests that stay eg providing plenty of activities for children which really made a difference. It was lovely relaxing by the log fire in the evening. Definitely recommend

What a wonderful stay! The cottage was so well equipped and there was so much space. The children loved the huge garden and all the garden toys, as well as all the toys in the house. It was a perfect week that I can not fault. Well be visiting again!

The property is a spacious barn conversion in a lovely village just outside Norwich. We chose it because we needed somewhere suitable for elderly parents, one of whom is visually impaired. All of the family, including the dog had a great holiday in the house. The property was well equipped and even had plenty of toys for children both indoors and outside.

The property is large & spacious & highly suited to families; a play room with a huge content of toys, & a large hallway with a badminton table. The rear garden has a football pitch & proper goal-mouths, a good sized trampoline &. outside sitting areas and a barbeque. The property is equipped with more than you would expect. Absolutely fabulous house no way could it be faulted garden and patio excellent There were eight adults and in no way were we overcrowded. Plenty space and lots of thought gone into things to do. Our men had great fun playing croquet
