A quaint Grade II listed cottage sleeping two guests, offering views across the estuary in the village of Blakeney with its bustling quay, an interesting array of shops, and pub.
This cottage is located in the village of Blakeney, a picturesque coastal village situated on the River Glaven estuary. There is a small but eclectic range of shops including a fantastic deli, a seaside supplies store, and a fishmonger’s selling freshly caught produce. Alternatively, visitors may like to try their hand at crabbing, a perpetually popular activity with guests of all ages and rather a relaxing way to spend an afternoon by the water. Or why not hop on board one of the seal-watching boats which take visitors out to the nearby National Trust nature reserve.
From the front door of this cottage, the first room that guests come to is the charming kitchen/diner, an attractive room with a welcoming, homely feel to it. The dining table seats four guests, whilst the range of kitchen equipment includes a Range-style oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. Moving through to the lounge with its beamed ceiling and feature fireplace, guests can make themselves at home on the comfortable sofa from where they can enjoy the estuary views, or simply cosy-up and watch a favourite programme on the TV. Wooden stairs from the kitchen lead up to the bedroom on the first floor, where guests will find an antique double bed, a built-in wardrobe, and a prettily-tiled feature fireplace, as well as an en-suite shower room with shower and WC.
Outside, to the rear of the cottage there is a sunny south-facing patio garden for which there is garden furniture provided, offering guests a pleasant spot to sit out and enjoy relaxed al fresco dining. There is unallocated roadside parking near to the cottage.
