Lovely place to stay. Very nice setting in a small village. Lots of walking nearby. The cottage was wonderful with all the wooden beams and the workmanship was superb. Very comfortable and the ideal place to come back to after being out exploring. We would certainly go back again.

As an older couple and those that came with us the stairs should have had a rail, it was a lovely cottage, well equipped, the sofas did dip quite a lot and it was sometimes hard to get up, other than that no complaints at all.

This cottage was ideal for two couples. The photos do not deceive - it is beautifully finished to a very high standard. The outside seating area is small but the weather meant that we did not use it anyway. Excellent pub and restaurant within easy walk and good delicatessen and smokehouse made self catering an easy option too. We saw a barn owl almRead moreost every evening. Highly recommended. Hide
