Property code: 90011

Sedgeford is a peaceful and charming village which is in the north-western corner of Norfolk, just 4 miles from some to the area’s most wonderful beaches. The Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton (4 miles) has a beach, an array of shops, traditional seaside amusements, a Sea Life Centre and fun fair. Old Hunstanton is home to a fantastic golf course and is the beginning of the Norfolk Coastal Path with sets out towards Holme, running along the coast from the Peddars Way which runs through Sedgeford on its way out to the coast. In Sedgeford you are perfectly placed to explore the whole of stunning North Norfolk. A coastal Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which includes fascinating nature reserves such as Blakeney Point, RSPB Titchwell and Pensthorpe. Houghton Hall (17 miles) and Sandringham (7 miles) are well worth a visit as are Burnham Market and Holt for their shopping, cafés and art galleries.

This beautiful, renovated, traditional semi-detached cottage, which once belonged to the Sandringham Estate, is the ideal peaceful home in a gorgeous part of Norfolk. You enter the property through the side door which leads you into the roomy kitchen area, perfect for the designated chef as it is well equipped to prepare anything from a hearty meal to a light snack with a table and four chairs. Off the kitchen is a cosy, comfortable snug with a wood burner and a two-seater sofa perfect for those wishing to unwind and relax after a busy day exploring the local area; you also have a desk-table and chair for those wishing to set up a workstation. Leading off from the snug is the lounge with two sofas, a large armchair and a Smart TV, an ideal spot for gathering around to watch a film. Completing the downstairs, off the kitchen is a stunning Victorian styled family bathroom with freestanding bath and separate shower cubicle. A door leads from the snug up the steep Norfolk winder staircase to the bedrooms. Heading upstairs there are three bedrooms, a double with ample storage space for your clothes and personal belongings, a twin room, again with ample storage space, and a single room with storage space. The twin and single bedrooms offer views over the rooftop to the countryside beyond.

Outside, the private lawned area and terrace are to the side of the cottage. There is a large family picnic table with parasol and there is also a small seating area with a garden bench to the front of the property where you can sit and enjoy an al-fresco drink and countryside views. While the garden area is enclosed by a fence to the back and sides, a sandstone wall runs along the front of the property and is quite low.

Really cosy cottage with a mix of contemporary and original features. Lovely blankets and lighting with some touches such as movement sensors to allow you to go downstairs to bathroom at night. Gorgeous bathroom. Loads of crockery etc -can see why damage deposit is required. Though was a 5 bed cottage - the kitchen table was not really designed forRead more 5. We enjoyed sitting out in the garden at the picnic table when it was sunny. Very well appointed cottage in good location. Hide

Lovely cottage in a really peaceful spot. Convenient for beaches at Heacham, Hunstanton and Brancaster. Be aware the staircase is very steep. Cottage accepts dogs but they are not allowed upstairs and garden would not be secure if your dog wants to escape. Lovely walks from the door and good pub around the corner. We would return.

This is a beautiful, well kept and very comfortable cottage in a lovely quiet lane. Everywhere was extremely clean, the bathroom was spotless with a great shower. The kitchen was very well equipped and had pretty plates, dishes etc. The bedrooms were nicely furnished with comfy pillows. Nothing to complain about at this cottage.

Such a comfortable and cosy cottage. Beautifully and thoughtfully presented and well equipped. A truly quiet and peaceful setting being on a no through lane, and away from the road through the village. A very convenient location for coastal and countryside walks. We appreciated the amenities, including a large supermarket at Heacham, and the indepeRead morendent shops in Burnham Market both of which are only a short drive away. Good selection of local pubs. We would definitely recommend. Hide

We had a wonderful time at Off Piste and it was well placed to explore the local area. Would happily return and loved that it felt so rural. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing time this is your place.
