Once a working farm these two barns have been converted from a corn store and stables. Stylishly restored with beams throughout, ash wood floors and many original features they offer spacious accommodation yet designed for couples to feel at home too. The barn is quietly situated on the edge of the picturesque village of Corpusty which boasts its own art gallery, open all hours store, a pub and an exciting play area with lots of climbing structures. On site, enjoy a walk in the water meadows, collect eggs from the chickens or play in a shared play area. Dine alfresco, watch the stars and enjoy the peacefulness of the location within the enclosed patio and garden. Close by are the National Trust properties of Blickling and Felbrigg, Holt Country Park and Sheringham Park. All provide acres of woodland and great dog walking opportunities. The stunning North Norfolk coast is within easy reach and is a popular destination with glorious sandy beaches at Wells, Holkham, Sheringham, Cromer, and Brancaster. Salt marshes at Cley Reserve, Blakeney and Morston offer all visitors the opportunity to get close to nature with their bird reserves and boat trips to see the seals.

On entering this spacious and charming barn conversion with exposed brick and timber beams, you find yourself with plenty of comfortable seating in the lounge/diner and a fabulous oak dining table easily big enough for 6 people. Continuing on the ground floor and accessed via two shallow steps (with handrail) , there is a King Size bedroom with its own hand basin and shaving point and a stylishly designed fully equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer. The shower room is off the ground floor hallway with shower cubicle, hand basin and WC as is the washing machine. The beautiful oak staircase leads to an open landing with two further large bedrooms; a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. The family bathroom has a roll top bath, hand basin and WC.

Outside, the barn has an enclosed patio with seating and space for a picnic or BBQ. Shared use of meadow opposite. Games/play facilities: indoor table tennis and children have plenty of space to play safely on site and are welcome to use the large play area. The friendly owners live on site in the farmhouse and are happy to help you have a wonderful holiday.

Lovely spacious, very well equipped cottage in a good location. Was too wet for our children to make use of the play area, but the table tennis in the summerhouse was handy. Owners were friendly and very helpful, the local pub food is good too. Owl Barn was lovely and spacious, clean and well equipped. Its quiet village location is well placed for days out in North Norfolk. Blinklington Hall and Felbrigg Hall close by, with Sandringham less than an hour away (all great for dog walking). We had never visited Corpusty before and found the location charming and surprisingly central for both the sea and the Norfolk Broads. We enjoyed a meal at the local Dukes Head, five minutes walk away. Our favourite place turned out to be Sherringham which was celebrating its carnival.
