A stylish and contemporary lodge offering single-storey accommodation with an open-plan living space and enclosed patio garden, located centrally in the market town of Holt.

Situated in the attractive Georgian town of Holt, within a few hundred metres of all that the town has to offer this property enjoys one of Norfolk’s most enviable locations. An excellent array of shops is right on the door step, as well as a choice of places to eat including pubs, cafes, and restaurants. Beyond the town, Norfolk’s stunning coastline is within easy driving distance with the famous beach at Holkham located 15 miles to the west and the bustling resort of Cromer 10 miles to the east.

 

A long driveway leads up to the front door of this single-storey property, upon entering which guests will find the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with its floor-to-ceiling folding doors along one side of the room flooding the room with light. In the lounge area a contemporary-style wood burner sits next to a comfortable sofa and armchair, from which guests can sit back and relax in front of the TV/DVD. Across the room, past the dining table, the kitchen area is well-equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine: perfect for those who enjoy cooking and prefer to eat in. The first of the property’s two bedrooms is a double room benefitting from an en-suite wet room with a shower and WC. The second bedroom, meanwhile, is a twin room with an en-suite bathroom offering a shower-over-bath which is a smaller than usual size.

 

An enclosed patio garden offers guests a peaceful place to sit out and enjoy al fresco drinks, whilst to the front of the property there is off-road parking for two cars as well as a garage.

 

 

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Not overly attractive exterior but extremely well designed and equipped interior in excellent peaceful location in town centre with totally private courtyard garden. Lovely underfloor heating, spacious bedrooms, all necessary kitchen equipment provided. Access to parking spaces via narrow drive might make turning difficult if taking 2 good-sized caRead morers (we managed ok with Astra and Corsa). Had a couple of problems with tv and dishwasher but possibly the result of time left unused over lockdown. Hide

Pippin Lodge is tucked away so lovely and quiet, yet only a two minute walk into the gorgeous town of Holt. Modern and open plan inside makes the cottage very social and having two en suite bathrooms was great.

Great location in centre of Holt. The lodge is great for older people with less mobility. Property was a little tired - could do with a refresh.

Pippins Lodge is ideally situated, a short walk into Holt itself. It's very difficult to find property which is all on one level, making this completely suitable for people who have problems with mobility.

We had a truly great time. Centrally located it was so easy for my elderly aunt to walk into the town where there are so many interesting and independent shops. The cottage itself was beautiful and extremely well equipped, welcoming and warm. We intend to come again next year.

A lovely cottage located in the centre of Holt which gives the convenience of excellent shops and easy access to the coast at either Sheringham or Cromer. and indeed to the other North Norfolk coastal villages. The cottage is fitted out with all the equipment you are likely to need.

The holiday cottage is comfortable,very well equipped and in central location for visiting the town and the surrounding areas.
