A “secret” footpath leads from the village down to the coast, allowing guest to enjoy some fabulous walks alongside the sea. On the ground floor is a double bedroom with large window looking on to the terrace and a newly fitted ensuite shower room and w/c. The second bedroom, a twin room, is upstairs. It benefits from dual aspect windows and a bathroom on the same landing with bath, hand held shower and w/c.

Outside the cottage, a south-facing patio overlooks spacious lawns, giving guests a delightful space in which to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the surroundings. Very pretty cottage in good location that is warm and reasonably comfortable with a decent downstairs shower room. However it is in need of a good redecoration and refurbishment as it does not present well given the cost of rental. Access to parking is problematic and needs addressing.

We had the loveliest stay at Primrose Cottage and have recommended it to family & friends, as well as planning our next visit already. The cottage is traditional Norfolk brick & flint with the most beautiful courtyard garden for dining al fresco. Comfortable clean bedrooms, great shower and bath for soaking after a coastal walk or day on the beach.Read more The location couldnt be better for North Norfolk, the setting is both private and convenient, and being able to walk to Stiffkey Stores a highlight! A truly delightful cottage with rustic patio overlooking the private garden and trees beyond. Stiffkey ("Stookey") is ideally located centrally along the north Norfolk coast road from Hunstanton to Sheringham for those wishing to explore in either direction. Wonderful local store with a range of excellent goods including the essentials.

This cottage is very cosy & in a wonderful position to explore this glorious part of Norfolk. The cottage is acceptable but definitely in need of some tlc & de cluttering to make the step up to a perfect place to stay,

A pretty cottage in a good position in a lovely village. The furnishings are tasteful and comfortable. Nice touches in the art and books and games. The garden is pretty if the weather is fine for sitting outside. We would recommend this cottage with the caveats above.

Would certainly recommend this property to the less mobile apart from the steps up to the entrance and the two steps into the cottage. My mother is 86 years old with mobility issues but found that mounting the steps one at a time she was fine. Everything else she needed was on the ground floor apart from one little step down from the kitchen into tRead morehe lounge. Hopefully will back for our third visit next year. Hide

The cottage was well located, bathrooms have been updated judging by previous reviews , some of the nic naks around give the place a dated feel but no complaints this is a good base for a holiday, would stay again.
