A pretty barn conversion property offering delightful period accommodation with a lawned garden, situated just 1 mile from the attractive North Norfolk coastline.


Situated in the village of Stiffkey, this cottage is perfectly situated for those who want to explore the Norfolk coast. A “secret” footpath leads from the village down to the coast, allowing guest to enjoy some fabulous walks alongside the sea. Head to Wells-next-the-Sea, just 4 miles away and enjoy the range of shops and eateries, or perhaps hop onto one of the leisure craft from the harbour and take a boat trip around Blakeney Point to see the resident seals. On the western side of the town, the beautiful beach offers wide stretches of sand backed by a string of pretty beach huts.


A long driveway takes guests past water meadows and over a small river bridge, before reaching this charming property which was once a cattle shed. Once inside a warm welcome awaits in the cosy lounge with its warming open fire and views over the garden, as well as a TV and CD player. In the kitchen next to the lounge, a dining table sits in the bay window and a good range of equipment is provided, including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. A double bedroom can also be found on the ground-floor of the cottage with plenty of wardrobe space and an en-suite bathroom offering a bath with handheld shower and WC. The second bedroom, a twin room, can be found upstairs and benefits from dual-aspect windows which floor the room with morning light. The bathroom on this floor also offers a bath with a handheld shower and WC.


Outside the cottage, a south-facing patio overlooks spacious lawns, giving guests a delightful space in which to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the surroundings. Off-road parking is provided for two cars, but please note that the bridge approaching the property is only suitable for domestic vehicles no bigger than a family-size 4x4, with no capacity for trailers or caravans.

Primrose Cottage is in a peaceful setting, has a well equipped kitchen with a dish washer. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom is very useful for the less mobile. The heating system is also easy to use.

Nice cottage, very quiet location yet near for the local store, and pub. Great for bus service which runs every 30mins. Courtyard garden particularly nice to use in the evening sun. Within a few miles of national cycle network for cyclists.

The location of the property is great. Lovely village. The cottage is very sweet but a little tired. The bathrooms need updating badly. Well equipped in the kitchen. Lounge area cosy but a little old fashioned.

Primrose cottage is charmingly 'rustic' and homely and is equipped with all the necessary facilities required for a holiday. It was really good to have two bathrooms, although they could do with being updated. The cottage is in a lovely location and a convenient position for the local, excellent village store/caf and pub.
