GROUND FLOOR APARTMENT WITHIN A TRADITIONAL FLINT COTTAGE

This delightful contemporary, light and airy ground floor property sits within the owner’s grounds on a small arable working farm and is approached via country lanes, past Selbrigg pond, abundant with wildlife and is close to the North Norfolk Coast. The property is ideally situated close to the Georgian market town of Holt with many independent shops, art galleries, delis, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Stroll to Selbrigg pond, just a stones throw from the cottage, and enjoy the vast array of wildlife on our doorstep including a breeding pair of mute swans, kingfishers, herons and dragonflies galore. There are various walks directly from the cottage door, with little or no need to use roads. The property is approximately 3 miles from the sea. Norfolk is well known for it's big open skies, a must for astronomers throughout the year, easily seen from your patio! Alternatively take a steam train from Holt Station to Weybourne and Sheringham. Visit the coastal villages of Morston and Blakeney from where you can take a boat to see the seals at Blakeney Point; or drop in at Cromer, famous for the Cromer crab, and it’s End of the Pier Show. Attractions further afield include Sandringham House; The Muckleburgh Collection; Pensthorpe Nature Reserve and the National Trust properties at Sheringham Park, Felbrigg and Blickling.

Guests arriving at this charming ground floor property, enter into the hallway and walk through to a spacious open plan kitchen/diner/lounge, the kitchen area having an electric oven and induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave and dining area with table and chairs. High standard throughout, very clean and user friendly Cottage. Owners made themselves known to us in case we needed anything then left us alone until we departed. Came to say goodbye and asked if all had been ok. The location is ideal for popping out to local areas, be it seaside ( Sheringham & Cromer less than 30 mins drive) National Trust sites Read moreand the town of Holt. The cottage is secluded enough to just while away the time uninterrupted if you so wish. 3rd visit here and it always delivers. Hide

We have visited about six times and will continue to do so as it is so relaxing and comfortable. Ideally situated for shops and not far from the coast. As birdwatchers we love the area and dont have to travel far to enjoy the birds.
