We enjoyed our stay at the old stables. We were not bothered by the construction noise, as we are early risers. The Internet not working during our stay was inconvenient. We loved the space and layout of the cottage and the local wildlife. Visits to Pettits Animal Adventure Park and Wroxham Miniature Worlds recommended for anyone visiting with chilRead moredren. Hide

Lovely quiet location surrounded by farmland. Very nice property which suited our needs. The owners were very helpful and friendly. Use of the small paddock for the dog to run around in was much appreciated.

Idyllic cottage set in beautiful surroundings and very friendly owners in Steve and Dorothy. Great location with places such as Aylsham, Cromer and Sheringham within a 25 minute journey. Excellent pubs/eating places nearby. HOWEVER OUR HOLIDAY WAS SPOILT when "Bob the Builder" turned up next door . It appears an extensive building project is now unRead morederway and the noise of the digger and dumpa truck from before 8am can be heard all over the cottage. Lovely cottage which was the perfect escape for our family of four. We particularly loved the bedrooms which were spacious and continued the old charm of the rest of the cottage. Furthermore the location was great for travelling to National Trust properties, Norwich and local seaside towns.

The Old Stables is an outbuilding within a beautiful home estate. Dorothy and Steve are delightful and so welcoming and helpful. The Old Stables is rustic and characterful. It has all the facilities you need including Wifi, hairdryer, full kitchen equipment and cleaning products and spare toilet paper. On arrival there was a bottle of wine and milkRead more which was such a kind touch. If you have a dog there is a field within the estate that you can use. All in all it was a perfect stay. Hide

Beautiful property which was clean and fully equipped. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Lovely location to relax with plenty to do and see not too far away. As we chose to eat out we had no trouble finding local restaurants serving a good choice of food. Very enjoyable stay.

Beautifully situated and a pleasure to stay in, we were delighted with the Old Stables and the warmth of the welcome. Even in indifferent weather we were warm and cosy. Some guests may have a problem with weak internet and phone signals in the cottage, needing a short walk down the drive to make calls and access the web. We would heartily recommendRead more the Old Stables and look forward to visiting again. Hide

Cosy cottage in beautiful countryside. We had a wonderful stay at Sloley Old Stables, which was nice to come home to after a day of exploring the surrounding area. Clean and comfortable place to stay, and Dorothy was very helpful with local tips.

Warm and comfortable cottage in nice setting. Could have done with more crockery. Single beds only really suitable for a child. No internet although advestised which was inconvenient. Nice pub 5 minutes away The Goat.

The accommodation was wonderful and it felt like a home away from home, even with the restrictions placed on the owners in the current global pandemic. The owners were great and helpful with their local knowledge (at 2m distance!) and also to check on local restrictions regarding masks, properties open for visiting etc.
