An attractive period cottage, once part of an historic public house, which has been converted to a comfortable holiday home for six guests, situated in the village of Blakeney.
Situated at the heart of Blakeney village, this cottage is set amongst the village shops and pubs. A couple of hundred metres from the property the village quay on the River Glaven is a great place to pick up one of the boat trips which run down river to the sea and include seal-watching excursions and harbour tours. For a day at the beach there are plenty of options including the magnificent wide sandy beach at Holkham Bay and the traditional resort town of Cromer, both of which are located within 13 miles of the cottage.
Entering into this period cottage, guests come first to the hallway where they can leave their coats before continuing through to the light-filled kitchen. Here they will find a range of cooking equipment including an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine. The spacious lounge/diner is accessed through the kitchen and offers three inviting sofas sitting under the vaulted beamed ceiling, next to the warming wood burner. There is a TV and DVD here, as well as a second TV in the ground-floor king-size bedroom which also boasts an en-suite shower room with a rain shower and WC. A second ground-floor bedroom is a restful twin room with en-suite shower room and WC , whilst the third bedroom, another king-size room is located on the first floor. The bathroom with its roll-top bath and separate shower is also located on the first floor as is a separate WC.
A shared patio garden with garden furniture and a BBQ provides a delightful space to enjoy al fresco dining at warmer times of the year. There is off road parking for one vehicle extra parking is available on the quay.
Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
