Formerly two country cottages, this spacious property is a wonderful place to enjoy a break with family or friends, situated in the pretty surroundings of the quiet Norfolk countryside.

Enjoying a quiet rural location, this cottage is ideally situated for those who want to enjoy leisurely country walks or to take advantage of the region’s famously flat landscape and spend time exploring by bike. The beautiful town of Holt lies 5 miles away and offers a fabulous array of shops clustered around its Georgian squares. Beach days can be spent at any one of a number of local beaches, with the splendid sandy beach at Holkham offering a vast amount of space backed by pine trees and situated 12 miles from the cottage. 

At the heart of this charming cottage, the spacious/kitchen diner has been finished in a country style and features a large wooden dining table as well as a good range of equipment including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. From here guests come through to the lounge, a welcoming room with an inviting sofa, comfortable easy chairs, and a TV/DVD, as well as a CD player. In the summer months, the patio doors can be opened to create a pleasant breeze,. there is a feature woodburner.  Because the property was formerly two separate houses there are two separate staircases leading to the first floor, both of which are quite steep. Once upstairs guests will find three bedrooms, the first of which is an attractive double room with a feature fireplace, whilst the two remaining bedrooms are both restful single rooms. A small room with space for a cot is also located on the first floor, a perfect nursery for an infant. The main bathroom with its bath, handheld shower, and WC is situated on the first floor, whilst downstairs there is an additional shower room. 

Outside the property benefits from a spacious lawned garden offering plenty of space to relax and play and comes complete with garden furniture for leisurely al fresco dining. There is off-road parking for three cars.

 

 

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Lovely house, very clean, comfortable beds, well stocked up, plenty to do , games, books, dvds etc .
