A thoughtfully converted chapel, offering stylish yet comfortable accommodation for four guests, enjoying an enviable location in the village of Warham, only 2 miles from Wells-next-the-Sea.

Warham, where this property is situated, is a pretty village located close to Norfolk’s picturesque north coast. The characterful village pub, just a short 0.3-mile walk from the cottage, is a delightful place to pop into for a pint, but it would be a shame to miss out on sampling its signature home-baked pies. For an interesting range of shops and more places to eat, head to neighbouring Wells-next-the-Sea: also a great place to join one of the boat trips which depart from the town’s harbour. The beach is situated just outside the town and is a wonderful stretch of fine sand backed by pine trees and beach huts.

Guests will fall in love with this property before they even step inside, thanks to the imposing exterior which is unchanged from its days as a working chapel. Inside, the property is no less impressive, boasting a double-height ceiling in the comfortable lounge, where inviting sofas are the perfect place to relax with an electric flame effect  enjoy a night-in with a film on the TV/DVD. The kitchen/diner is well-equipped kitchen offering a dining table seating four as well as an oven, hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, and dishwasher. A utility room houses the washing machine and WC, past which is a sunny conservatory overlooking the garden. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, the first of which is a double room with a pine dressing table and a skylight window. The second bedroom meanwhile, is a pretty twin room, next to which the bathroom offers a shower-over-bath and WC.

To the rear of the property the enclosed garden is a lovely place to sit out and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and has a small lawn next to a patio seating area for which garden furniture is provided. There is parking for two cars.

The old Chapel is a lovely place to stay - very comfortable, clean and well equipped. A home from home. A good location for exploring the area. The garden is very small but good for a tired dog to chill out in after a busy day out. Stayed at The Old Chapel for 3 nights. It's a lovely, warm, quiet, comfortable accommodation and well equipped. Completely enclosed garden at back, great for our little dog to roam. Ample parking at side of building for average sized car or a larger car can park at the front. Only minor issue was slow wifi. Cosy, warm and comfortable. Well equipped. Unfortunately, the Chapel was not up to standard on basic cleaning and needs a deep clean especially in the times we find ourselves in, otherwise, a beautiful place to have the privilege of staying. Great location with good routes to Wells, Holt, Sheringham and Cromer. I would recommend to a friend but wouRead moreld have to highlight the cleaning issues first. Hide

Our break was very short but we loved it here at The Chapel. The property was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The small garden is fully enclosed and safe for dogs. A lovely comfortable cottage, plenty of space. Small garden at the rear, fully enclosed so safe for dogs. Nice local pub that does nice meals, advisable to book because it gets busy. Note, one bedroom has no wardrobes, it does have 6 coat hooks, lucky we took space saving coat hangers. Conservatory had dead flies on the windowsill when we arrived. Great location, a comfortable, fully equipped cottage with a small parking area, quiet and relaxing. Enclosed private garden, with enough space to enjoy a barbecue, or sit in the shade and watch the birds. Lots of things to do in the area, you dont need to drive far to travel by steam, see a seal or walk on a gorgeous sandy beach.

Given the current situation the Chapel was not particularly clean with a stained toilet, dusty floor in the conservatory and stained pillows and beds. This aside the chapel was comfortable and relatively well equipped. My daughter particularly liked the conservatory. The chapel is not really an ideal base for walkers or people with dogs as there arRead moree virtually no footpaths in the area. The pub at the bottom of the road is fantastic and we would highly recommend the food (particularly the pies). Hide

Great location - only 10 mins drive to to Wells-Next-The-Sea, nice pub across the road for drinks and good meals, set in a quiet, peaceful and picturesque village. The accommodation is nice - the interior is different to 'the norm' because it's a converted chapel.
