A thoughtfully-converted stable offering comfortable accommodation for two guests, situated in the village of Stody, just 7 miles from the North Norfolk coast.

Situated on the edge of the Stody Estate, this property is an excellent choice for those who like to spend time walking and enjoying leisurely bike rides in peaceful scenic surroundings. The estate with its extensive gardens is open to the public at certain times of the year and is sure to be a hit with those who have an interest in horticulture. To the north of the property the coastal reserve at Blakeney is managed by the National Trust and is home to a colony of grey seals who can often be spotted from one of the numerous boat trips which run around the coast and can be picked up from Blakeney Quay, some eight miles away from the property.

Stepping inside this single-storey farm-conversion property the first room that guests will come to is the open-plan living space, a well-proportioned room comprising a lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area is a comfortable place to relax in furnished with cosy armchairs allowing guests to enjoy the TV/DVD as well as the warmth of the wood burner. The kitchen area, set towards the rear of the room has a good range of equipment which includes an oven, hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. The bedroom and bathroom are both set on the same level as the living area, with the bedroom being a restful room with a 5’ double bed. The bathroom meanwhile, offers a shower-over-bath and WC.

Outside the property there is a walled patio garden with a table and chairs, providing guests with a private space to enjoy al fresco drinks in the evening. There is parking available at the cottage. Next door to this property, a sister property is another one-bedroomed cottage making the two properties ideal for two couples to book together, affording both couples privacy whilst allowing them to enjoy socialising together.
