Fabulous cottage for couple wanting the peace and quiet but with access to the pub for food or a quiet drink. Access to the village is via narrow Country lanes which get flooded and blocked easily, but it was well worth it. Cottage well kitted out to a very high standard and was close to a lot of interesting places but parking is limited and not clRead moreearly marked so can be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Lovely setting, handy for lots of interesting places. Cottage warm and welcoming. We had a lovely stay despite having to dodge storm Dennis but even then we managed to get one a non rainy walk each day. Just in case this is not clear, that is a reference to the actual storm of that name, it is not a reference to the owner, whose name is also DennisRead more. The owner was fine and we did not have to dodge him at all. Hide

Nice homely cottage next door to the White Lady pub where the food and real beer was excellent. Is a very quiet village with no shop, but a selection of supermarkets are a short drive away.

Had a great week here in October. Warm and comfortable base with comfortable beds.
