A short walk to the shingle beach, favoured by fisherman, sailing and bird-watching close by, with fine walks along the coastal path. Popular towns of Sheringham and Holt are close by.
The village has a friendly pub and a store. Many splendid attractions at nearby Sheringham include Little Theatre, Splash Leisure Centre, North Norfolk Steam Railway, Sheringham Park.
