Located in a superb position in a picturesque coastal village, this lovely cottage has wonderful sea and marsh views and makes a fantastic family holiday home close to a beautiful Norfolk beach.

The tranquil village of Salthouse is a lovely base for enjoying a holiday in the north of Norfolk. With beautiful scenery, a shingle beach and plenty of walks to enjoy, this is a fantastic spot for keen birdwatchers and nature-lovers. From the heathland there are wonderful views of the salt marsh. Nearby attractions include the Muckleburgh Military Collection (2 miles), Sheringham Park (6 miles) and the nature reserves at Blakeney (5 miles) and Cley (2 miles). The popular seaside resort of Cromer is just 10 miles away, or you could discover the pretty Georgian market town of Holt which is 4 miles inland. Other local attractions include the 100-acre Holt Country Park, the watermill at Letheringsett and Baconsthorpe Castle.

On entering this charming property, set in an elevated position away from the road and enjoying wonderful view over the sea and marsh, you will find yourself in the light and spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge is an ideal space to unwind in, with comfortable seating and Smart TV, and there’s also a charming dining area. Heading over to the bright and stylish kitchen, you will find it fully equipped with an oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge. Going upstairs you will find two cosy bedrooms: a double room overlooking the garden, and a twin room overlooking the marshes and the sea. There is also a bathroom complete with an electric shower over the bath and a WC.

Stepping outside you can sit back and relax in the south-facing courtyard patio. There is an allocated parking space, with further parking available in one of the visitors’ spaces or on the lay-by of the coast road.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
