This bungalow is set in over 2 acres of the owner's grounds overlooking their friendly sheep and situated in the pretty Norfolk village of Hainford.

Hainford is in the very heart of Norfolk and is central to some of the most spectacular scenery that Norfolk offers, the village offers a lovely thatched pub serving lunches and evening meals. Wroxham is only a 10 minute drive, with shops, restaurants, pubs, enjoy hiring a boat for the day, exploring the picturesque waterways, the wildlife at the nature reserves or stopping for lunch at one of the many riverside pubs. The cathedral city of Norwich is just 7 miles away where you can find theatres, museums, shopping meals, restaurants, a castle or see the sights on the open top bus. Just 3 miles away is the broadland village of Coltishall known as 'the gateway to the broads.' The traditional seaside resorts of Cromer and Sheringham can be reached within half an hour. There are fine sandy beaches at Winterton on Sea and Sea Palling, great for spotting the seal pups. Enjoy walks through the owners grounds, make friends with the sheep and enjoy tea in the summer house overlooking the pond.

On entering the bungalow into the hallway, through to the kitchen, compact area with microwave, integral fridge, and electric hob and oven, the lounge dining area,  with Flatscreen TV, DVD, feature brick wall and fire place, electric wood burner effect fire and patio doors to shared enclosed garden. Shower room with WC. A comfortable double bedroom.  Outside: quiet shared garden, patio with seating, summer house and pathways available for walks around the grounds.

A friendly welcome from the owner Karen. We had a lovely stay in Lavender Cottage which had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. An enclosed lawned garden which was perfect for our dog. We look forward to re visiting again in the future.

Quiet and peaceful location, surrounded by open countryside, yet only a few miles drive from places of interest and Villages. Very relaxing and comfortable. Host was only to willing to help if needed, would have to give 10 out of 10.

There is plenty of room in the cottage for one or two people plus a dog. It's ideally situated for all the major towns and the coast. Dog walks close by and shared lawn space too.

Lovely little cottage for two plus dog, the bed was really comfortable and slept well, shower was nice and clean, shame we couldn't stay longer, would stay again, very peaceful area and about a 10 min drive to Wroxham.

This is the second time we have stayed at the cottage, and will definitely be planning another visit. The cottage is in a great location, with easy access to the coast , broads and Norwich. There is a great pub at Frettenham just 15 minutes walk away . The cottage itself had everything we needed, was really comfy with a great garden and outside spaRead morece and is really dog friendly , perfect for our older dog. We had a wonderfull stay at the Lavender cottage. We found it clean, well furnished and equipped. It is perfect for a place to stay to explore the surrounding beautiful counrtyside and some of the Norfolk Broads. We particularly liked Wroham which was a short drive away. Lovely cottage, spacious for the two of us and our dog Mia. Excellent location for dog walking. Nearest pub actually is the rose and crown lovely people in there and dog friendly. There is a hut on the ground that does food Thursday - Sunday its Chinese / Tia food.

Very comfortable cottage everything you needed for a great stay was there. Cromer only 16 mile away. Great to visit. Very quiet location and an excellent shared garden with seating. Absolutely lovely cottage. Very quiet place. Decently close to the coast and full of walking paths and place for dogs to run. Loved to be surrounded by sheeps and horses. Lovely owner came to met us when arrived and asked to tell her if we needed anything.

Lovely cottage in a peaceful location, great base for exploring Norfolk and the Broads. Very clean cottage and well equipped. Secure garden for the dog to run around. Would have loved to stay longer.

Very good all round The village is first class the very quiet NO SHOPS at all there is a GREAT PUB about two miles away in the next village. All the local are very friendly WE WILL RETURN

Although the property was a little off the beaten track for us it is an idyllic situation for a quiet relaxing holiday. The cottage itself was perfect, spotless and very comfortable. We can highly recommend and would certainly return in the future
