Situated in the heart of the village of Cawston within the Norfolk countryside, this property offers the perfect place to explore Norfolk, with a village deli/cafe and local pub just opposite yet only yards from miles of footpaths and country lanes to walk or cycle on. The Marriots way- a long distance cycle way and footpath- is in the village ¼ mile from the property. Delicious breakfasts are served at the deli and good home cooked meals at our small local pub. Further afield is the stunning Norfolk Coast line, which includes the towns of Sheringham, Blakeney and Wells-Next-The-Sea. Attractions include the North Norfolk Steam Railway in Holt, the End of the Pier show at Cromer, Thursford, The Broads, Pensthorpe Nature reserve and the National Trust properties of Blicking and Felbrigg Halls. Norwich is close by with an excellent range of independent shops and historic buildings. Kings Lynn, Sandringham and Yarmouth are also easily reached.
This charming annex all on the ground floor, on guests arrival the hallway leads through to a good size cottage style well equipped kitchen/diner with an electric range oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and TV, having a dining table and chairs. The Utility room is off the kitchen having a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a shower room with a double corner shower cubicle, wash hand basin and WC. The good size lounge has comfortable sofas, there is a woodburner within a brick built chimney breast with exposed timber bessemer beam, exposed timber beams to the ceiling, TV/DVD. There is a king size bedroom and a single bedroom..
Outside: An enclosed shingled patio with garden furniture, with views over the owner’s garden which is available for guest’s use.. A driveway offers off road parking (additional parking is possible by arrangement in adjacent car park). Cycle storage if required.
