Burnham Overy Staithe is a small but bustling coastal village with a creek-side harbour and salt marshes with channels out to sea. The staithe itself is just a short walk down the lane. The perfect spot for crabbing, playing around in the water or walking along the cockle path to the beach. Burnham Overy staithe is a place of outstanding natural beauty and Buffers End provides the perfect location for exploring the best of what North Norfolk has to offer.

The village is a major recreational sailing centre, and is part of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can catch the ferry out to the nature reserve of Scolt Head Island, which is a beautiful bird and seal sanctuary with plenty of wintering birds, plus barn owls, hares and seals to look out for. There are plenty of lovely villages and towns to visit nearby, including Burnham Market, Holkham – home to the vast Holkham Estate, and Burnham Thorpe, the birthplace of Nelson. The popular towns of King’s Lynn and Holt are within easy driving distance.

On entering this lovely property a large and open hallway leads you through to the light and airy lounge, which is an ideal space to relax in, with plenty of comfy seating, TV and a traditional wood burner. Moving into the stylishly designed and spacious kitchen/diner, you will find it fully equipped with a double oven and halogen hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. There’s also a delightful dining area with seating for up to eight guests. The washing machine is housed in the nearby utility cupboard. The ground floor also features a lovely sunny garden room with comfortable seating, TV/DVD and views through the French doors out into the garden. Exploring the ground floor further you will find a comfy twin bedroom with an en-suite wet room comprising a shower and WC. There is also a ground-floor WC. The whole ground floor benefits from underfloor heating. Heading up to the first floor you will find three further spacious bedrooms. There’s a double room with a king-size bed, plenty of storage space and an en-suite bathroom complete with a twin ended bath, walk-in shower and WC; there’s also a twin room and a further double room. You will also find a family bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC.

Stepping outside you will find an enclosed garden with a lovely lawn and views over the nearby fields. A patio area features garden furniture and a BBQ allowing you to sit back and dine al fresco on a beautiful summer’s day. Venture beyond the garden gate into the huge village playing field with tennis courts, playpark, skate ramp and zip wire - there is something for everyone.

Off-road parking is available for three cars on a gravel driveway.

Property is next door to Sleepers which is an identical house and these houses may be booked together to provide accommodation for up to 16 people.

Excellent property - with ample space catering for all ages from babies to grandparents - and dogs - close to the Staithe and lots of good walks out direct from the property - you could leave your car on the drive all week

A spacious and well designed 4 bedroom house. Ideal for large families, extended families and multi generational gatherings. Quiet location, but well situated for exploring North Norfolk . A short droll to the water's edge.

This is a lovely, comfy family house. We enjoyed a super 4 days over New year with our own family; including children and 2 dogs Property catered well for youngsters, stair gate was useful and plastic crockery was great too. Enclosed garden, with direct access to playing field and play park was appreciated by all, as were the lovely walks from the Read moredoor. The Hero pub is welcoming, cosy and great food! We went crabbing at Wells, walked sandunes at Holkham and even did the Park Run there! Hide

Lovely cottage with large rooms and ample storage space. Just the place for getting away from it all. Comfortable furniture in both lounges and very well equipped kitchen. There is a gate at the bottom of the garden which leads directly onto a playing field which has football nets, tennis court, basketball net and a very well stocked children's plaRead morey area. Lovely, spacious house in a great location. The kitchen is very well equipped and has a huge dining table for family meals. The sun room at the back is full of light and always warm. The Hero pub is only a short stroll away and serves a great Sunday lunch. There is an excellent play park through the garden gate.
