This property is located in the village of Dersingham, within walking distance of two pubs, village shops, and a pottery gallery. There are miles of scenic walks to be enjoyed in the local area, including the nature reserve at Dersingham Bog which is home to an abundance of birds including several rare species. The coast lies just five miles away, with a choice of beaches within easy reach, including the popular resort of Hunstanton which lies just 7 miles north of the property. One of the area’s most interesting attractions is the stunning royal estate at Sandringham, which is just 1.5 miles away and is open to visitors for most days during the summer.

The front door of this property opens onto a spacious hallway, off from which there are two doors leading through to the kitchen/diner to one side and the lounge to the other. The lounge is an elegantly-styled room with two deep sofas, a warming wood burner-effect gas fire, and a Smart TV and DVD. Across the hallway, the kitchen/diner is a light-filled room with a dining table and an excellent range of equipment including an oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. French windows from this room open onto the garden, making it easy to take drinks outside during the warmer months of the year. Returning to the hallway, guests pass a cloakroom with WC before taking the stairs to the first floor where there are two bedrooms. The first bedroom is a generously-sized room which has been finished in chic, understated colours and has a King-size bed, comfortable armchair and Smart TV. The en-suite bathroom for this bedroom is a pretty room with a bath, handheld shower over the bath, and WC. The second bedroom, meanwhile, is a twin room off from which there is an en-suite shower room with a WC.

Doors from both the kitchen and the lounge lead out to the garden, which has a small lawn, and a patio seating area with garden furniture and pretty potted plants. There is off-road parking for one car.

Our first visit to this area of Norfolk. Visited some lovely places and mostly loved the cottage. Good size and plenty of room. Well equipped and clean. Garden furniture could do with cleaning up a bit but that is a minor issue. Will definitely come back to the area. Lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. Close to lots of amenities to visit around Norfolk. Good comfortable bed, the shower was good also. The lounge is spacious, nice furnishings. Fully equipped kitchen. However we didn't use the facilities accept the kettle and microwave.

This cosy cottage was perfect for our trip around Norfolk. It was a few minutes from the Sandringham estate, and under an hour to the east coast. Ideal for walks, or the steam train in Sheringham. The cottage was clean, and well equipped, and very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

A lovely cottage fully equipped with everything one needs. Really comfortable lounge. Great kitchen. Unfortunately the television didn't work due to weather conditions but the WiFi is brilliant. It's in a delightful village so close to Sandringham and an easy drive to Hunstanton. I recommend it and will be back.

The cottage is very well decorated, comfortable and well appointed. It's also very spacious. It's in a good location for North Norfolk, especially lively Hunstanton and the beautiful wooded grounds of Sandringham. The garden is small, but pretty - fine for sitting outside with a drink, and there is a nearby playground and park, great for the kids.
