Located in the peaceful village of Sharrington surrounded by countryside and close to the North Norfolk Coast this lovingly converted open plan property is the ideal family holiday home.

The pretty and peaceful village of Sharrington is situated less than 4 miles from the popular, historic and bustling Georgian town of Holt and is just 6 miles from the stunning North Norfolk coast. For a traditional fun-filled family day out and just 13 miles away head to the seaside resort of Cromer with its array of amusements, pubs, shops and restaurants or catch a show at the pavilion theatre located on the pier. Other attractions within easy reach include Amazona Zoo and the National Trust sites of Felbrigg and Blickling Hall, or why not hire a boat for the day and explore the vast waterways of the Norfolk Broads?

As you enter this wonderful bungalow into the hallway, you can hang up your coats and shoes after a day out walking. Go through into the large, bright and spacious lounge/kitchen/diner, which has been transformed to offer a group the ideal area in which to socialise or to gaze out through the many windows across the Norfolk countryside. The lounge area with doors leading out to the patio area has two comfortable sofas and two armchairs, so more than enough seating for seven guests as well as a Smart TV where you can cosy up with loved ones and watch or stream your favourite shows after a busy day out exploring. For the chef amongst you, the kitchen area has everything you would need to prepare a hearty meal or light snack with its electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Enjoy your homecooked meal in the dining area which will comfortably seat everyone or on a nice day you can open the bi-fold doors which will allow easy access to outside if you decide to serve up some food alfresco style. From the hallway, you have a choice of four bedrooms, one king size, a  doubles and one is a single room, all with garden views and all share a family bathroom with a shower, bath and WC. And finally, the king size bedroom and  the twin bedroom have a Jack & Jill en-suite shower room.

Heading outside you are spoilt for choice on where to relax and soak up some sun, but the main patio area is located through the bi-fold doors. Here you have a bench and chairs which would provide a good place to have some drinks or nibbles outside or a BBQ while exchanging stories about your Norfolk adventures. Please note the garden is large and isn't enclosed.

  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £30. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

We were a party of 5 adults and loved the location of the cottage and the gardens. The living area is very spacious and a lovely room for relaxing at the end of the day. Please be aware though that the seating is low and could cause problems for people who are more advanced in years or have difficulty rising. Lovely, quiet location - lots of lanes to walk or cycle down. Good size house and fabulous garden. Kitchen and dining area ideal for a big family or two families. We needed a property like this as there would be two couples and a single adult staying. The layout with two bathrooms was ideal. The lounge with open plan kitchen is very large with plenty of seating and large windows making it a very bright room. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you should need. A peaceful location, but close to Holt. This property is bright and spacious. Very well equipped. Stunning views and large garden with lots of seating areas. Plenty of parking. Easy drive to various beaches, steam train and Sandringham only 1 hours drive. Will definitely visit again.

This was an excellent property our family to enjoy the broads and north Norfolk coast. We liked the open plan design of the lounge/kitchen area. It offers a great space for the whole group to have meals and it is comfy enough in the evenings to settle in front of the TV. Loved the massive garden it was a nice surprise to see a shed well stocked witRead moreh toys along with the BBQ and deck chairs to add to the fixed seating at the fire pit. Nice large property, large garden, plenty of space. Open plan lounge diner perfect for the family, well equipped to enable eating home cooked meals. The games indoor and outdoors were a nice surprise especially for the grandchildren. Very peaceful location, with the sea and other attractions a reasonable distance. Local farm shop was very nice. A lovely holiday cottage with a sizeable garden. Plenty of space inside and no room feels too small or crowded. Lots of wildlife to observe whilst inside or outside, including birds, rabbits and even small deer at dusk. Although not immediately located on the coast, it is an excellent base for visiting Blakeney, Cley, Sheringham and Cromer. Beautiful property in very lovely country location. All very clean and comfortable. Very peaceful. Ideal for all the attractions of Norfolk. Attractive Holt with its cafes and restaurants just nearby as was a lovely farm shop suitable for all your fresh food needs. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect location, very peaceful and an abundance of space both inside and out. We were 7 adults and a toddler . Would be very interested in going again.
