Located just 5 miles south of the pretty Georgian market town of Holt and 22 miles northwest of Norwich, you’re perfectly placed to explore the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Explore glorious beaches at West and East Runton (14 and 15 miles respectively) and stroll the golden sands to Cromer (16.5 miles) for its famous fresh crab and local beer. Enjoy a wonderful experience on the Norfolk Steam Railway from Holt or Sheringham for a journey through a pristine landscape. Discover the beloved nature reserve at Blakeney Point (13 miles) where you’ll find the country’s largest colony of grey seals, visit Wells-Next-the-Sea (14 miles) and the exquisite Halls of Blickling and Holkham (11 and 15 miles respectively). A little closer to home, ramblers will enjoy footpaths from the historic railway village of Melton Constable, which boasts a renowned butcher and an excellent bakery with a coffee shop.

Set across one floor and attached to the owners' wonderful home and grounds, this annexe is the ideal base in which to explore the magnificent part of Norfolk. Enter the brick and flint dining area where there’s space for hosting friends for dinner. On one side, you have the kitchen area with all you’ll need to prepare anything from a light breakfast to a hearty evening meal, and on the opposite end of the annexe, you will find the spacious bedroom which has a king-size bed and a Smart TV. Next to the bedroom is the bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC, ideal for revitalising your senses before heading out on a day full of adventure or soaking those weary legs after a busy day exploring.

Outside to the rear of the annexe is an enclosed garden and terrace complete with table and chairs for those who wish to relax with a cup of tea or have a spot of al fresco style dining.

Nice place for a few nights with our large puppy. Garden was secure which was great. Comfortable accommodation. There is a great butchers just down the road. We used the takeaway (pizza/fish/kebab) and that was nice. We enjoyed our stay, thank you.

For guests with dogs just brilliant. Nice spacious fully enclosed garden. Supremely comfortable bed, very well equipped and welcome pack a really nice gesture. Good location for seeing Norfolk.

The Apple Store was a gem of a place well appointed and very comfortable, suited us perfectly for our stay in East Norfolk with easy access to Holt and on from there. The owner check on us on arrival saying we could call any time for assistance. We were made to feel very welcome.

This property is perfect for a base to visit the Norfolk coast and also enjoy the beautiful countryside. The property has been beautifully decorated and is in keeping with its surroundings. Had a fantastic holiday here with my mum and our 2 dogs. Lovely accommodation, great facilities. Welcome package was a lovely touch. Situated in an area where lots of things to do a short drive away. Lovely fish and chip/pizza/kebab shop, indian and chinese takeaway within a short walk way. Small co-op for necessities. Lovely secure small garden foRead morer dogs. The cottage was in the perfect setting for us. It was lovely and quiet but not far to travel to see all that we wanted. The owner introduced himself when we arrived but then left us alone. We ate outside when we ate at the cottage. The kitchen had everything we needed, cooker, fridge microwave etc. The bed was very comfortable and again we had all Read morethat we needed.
