Sedum Lodge, Overstrand

1 double bedroom, shower room (shower, WC, basin). ‘L ‘ shaped sitting room and kitchen.  Lovely garden and parking. Small, well behaved dog accepted.

A superb, modern larch clad lodge. A unique aspect of this home is its living roof planted with low growing sedum plants. A detached property, Sedum Lodge is located in the centre of Overstrand with its super sandy beach within an easy stroll. There is an excellent village pub 8 mins walk away next to the village shop with post office and the Cliff Top café is also close by. Within walking distance to the sea it is ideal for walkers and cyclists with the Norfolk Coast accessible from Cromer to King’s Lynn on the lauded Coasthopper bus service. Cromer is the nearest town with excellent fish and chips shops (Galton Blackiston’s ‘chippy’ No.1 overlooking the pier is of particular note) and the pier itself is worth a visit.

You enter the light ‘L’ shaped open plan living area with dual aspect windows, comfy modern sofa and super efficient - but diddy! - woodburner in one corner (logs are provided). The newly fitted (well, everything is new!) gloss cream galley kitchen is tucked into the ’L’ part of this space and the dining table is in part of the sitting room. From here double sliding doors open onto the south facing patio and grassed area with garden furniture and a rather magnificent magnolia tree.

The bedroom has plenty of storage with the window overlooking the garden. The new shower room is next to the bedroom and has an electric shower.

The garden has a side access gate and is securely fenced with six foot wooden fencing for additional privacy. There is parking for one car.
