This property is located in the sleepy village of Suffield Common, located just a few miles from the North-East Norfolk coast. The area is perfect for those who want to relax and enjoy a quiet break away from all the stresses of daily life, with an abundance of beautiful countryside surrounding the village, making it a great location for enjoying scenic walks and bike rides. There are numerous beaches and pretty coastal towns waiting to be discovered both to the north and east of the property, including the sandy beaches in the popular seaside resort of Cromer which is known for its excellent local seafood, independent restaurants, and its traditional pier which is one of the few left offering good old-fashioned end-of-pier entertainment.

On arrival at this gorgeous property, guests will notice straight away just how much time and attention the owners have put into creating a beautiful holiday retreat. The stable door to the side of the property opens onto a boot room which is not only a great space to leave outdoor gear, but also has a handy Belfast sink. From here a door opens onto the stunning kitchen/diner, a spacious, light-filled room which runs the entire width of the property with a limestone floor and electric skylight windows. There are two dining area in the room, a more formal dining area at one end with a large dining table, and breakfast day seating at the other end of the room in the contemporary kitchen space. There is an excellent range of equipment here including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, separate drinks fridge, and a dishwasher, whilst the washing machine and tumble dryer can be found in the separate utility room, next to which there is a cloakroom with WC. A door from the utility area leads through to the first of the property’s two lounges, a cosy room with a comfortable sofa. The second lounge is located at the other side of the house and is accessed from the dining room, and again offers comfortable seating, a wood burner, and a TV/DVD. A third space, the original entrance hall, offers another room in which guests can relax, which with its sofa and fireplace is a great place to relax over drinks in the evening. On the first floor, there are three bedrooms, the first of which is a stylish double room which benefits from an en-suite shower room with a WC. The second room, which also offers an en-suite shower room with a WC, is an attractive double room, whilst the third bedroom on this floor is a twin room. The house bathroom on this floor is a particularly stylish room with a raised free-standing bath, shower over the bath, and WC. The remaining two bedrooms can be found on the second floor, in the eaves of the house. The first of these is a simply stunning dual-aspect king-size room with a beamed ceiling, built-in wardrobes, an attractive seating area, and two huge gable end windows looking out over the garden. The second bedroom on this floor is a pretty twin room, which again has a beamed ceiling and plenty of storage space. The shower room on this floor is a sleek contemporary room with a large shower and WC.

Outside, the property enjoys an impressive two acres of grounds which include a spacious lawn to the rear and a fantastic courtyard seating area to the side, gas BBQ, garden furniture, a shady parasol, a hammock, a swing seat, and even an outdoor shower for the doggies and muddy boots. Please note BBQ and outdoor furniture only available in season. There is a driveway parking for five cars. An attractive house which was extremely clean. Very well stocked with cutlery and crockery so we never ran out. The garden is well maintained. All in all a great place to stay and I would be happy to return in the future.

Beautiful, well equipped house in lovely, tranquil location. We especially liked the gardens and the nature reserve, we saw a buzzard, deer, foxes and much else. Colette was very helpful and we would definitely recommend.

A fabulous house with everything needed for a family week away. Very well equipped and comfortable and the garden is beautiful. Not too far to drive for the Broads and the beaches but lots of paths for dog walking in the doorstep.

What a lovely house and garden, a fantastic kitchen/diner for family meals and board games etc. So well equiped, felt homely as soon as one entered the house. The children loved the garden, a very peaceful location and would certainly return.
