Splendid waterfront apartment with stunning views over the quay and saltmarshes of one of the North Norfolk coasts most popular seaside towns, with a great beach and lots to see and do close by.

The harbour town of Wells-next-the-Sea provides a great choice of shops and eateries which are a short stroll away. Days spent in the town could involve spending time on the beach, perusing the interesting independent shops or even fishing for crabs in the harbour. The views over the saltmarshes attract landscape artists throughout the year, and wildlife lovers will find an abundance of birdlife to watch. There are plenty of charming towns to visit inland including the Georgian town of Holt, with fine array of independent boutiques, antique shops, pubs and restaurants. Popular day trips for families include the Norfolk Broads National Park with miles of navigable waterways, bewilderwood and the Dinosaur Adventure Park.

This artfully styled second-floor apartment with attractive decor is positioned above a smart parade of independent shops. This includes a deli, an art gallery, fish and chip shop, cafes and coffee shops. There is access to the property via a flight of internal stairs to the first floor from Jicklings Yard. Guests will initially step into the entrance hall with space for coats and shoes before ascending a further flight of stairs to the landing. This opens onto a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer as well as space for air drying laundry. Here you will also find there is a separate WC and bathroom with shower over bath and WC. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is also accessed off the landing. Situated at the front of the property, this spacious room with fine sea views, is flooded with natural light from the dual aspect windows, sit back and relax after a day on the beach on the comfortable sofa, lose yourself in a good book from the well-stocked bookshelf, watch the TV, or while reclining in the armchair listen to something from the huge CD collection. The kitchen area provides everything required for holiday dining including an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and a handy dishwasher. With fabulous sea views, guests are able to enjoy the resulting meals in the dining area. The apartment has two bedrooms located up separate stairways to the second floor, off the landing, the first of which is a double bedroom while the second bedroom is a twin, both have far reaching views and plenty of storage space.

One of the nicest holiday properties we have ever stayed in. Comfortable, well-equipped, everything you could possibly need provided. Beautiful views and perfectly located. Considering returning next year!

The views are spectacular and the location fantastic. The living space is homely & bedrooms small but cosy. The only issue with the cottage itself was the shower/bath that goes under the stairs. You need to be very aware of your movements as there is limited headroom and you need to crouch a bit to get under the shower head. Location, Location , Location. This is what makes this cottage ideal. It is perfect for the harbour, shops, cafes and only a short (very pleasant) walk to the beach. The cottage was well stocked and all the bedding and towels were clean and new. The instructions for the parking are not great and when we eventually did found it the spot was so tightRead more we didn't used it, however it was only 28 for the week in the public carpark, which is only 2 minutes walk.
